Dad, 

I am so lost right now. As I sit here, I just don't undersatnd, WHY !!! I prayed every day to God to make you better, I really wanted us to have more time together, not being greedy, but I had so much to say, so much to do with you. I know that when we talked when I gave you the snow plow truck you were very happy, I could hear it in your voice. I was over when you broke down on the phone. Dad, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART !! I miss you so much already. Please Dad, Give me the strength to get through this. Please watch over Mom, so people do not take advantage of her when I can't be there by her side. Dad, I am so sorry I wasn't there on Monday when you left us.
Please forgive me. I am so happy I made it there on Saturday to hear you say my name 1 last time. We had no idea how bad this was going to be. Mom is being very strong Dad, but she needs your support from above.

Obituary for Paul Harrington Sr.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of this wonderful man on February 17, 2020 ( 3:15 PM ) at the Ouellette Campus at 76 years of age. Son of the late William and Barbara Harrington-Rilley. Beloved husband of Sarah Annabelle “Ann” (nee Emmorey) with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage. Loving father of Paul Jr. Harrington (Cheryl), Serena Longo (Nick) and Debra-Ann Harrington-Taylor. Treasured grandpa of Corey, Lance (Jasmine), Linda, Dustin (Morgan), Porsché (J.J.), Sophia, Kody, Elizabeth, Sarah, Victoria, Jessi-Lee and the late Paul Jr. III. Great grandpa of Isabella, Lylah, Rourie and one on the way. Brother of Allen Harrington (Barbara) and James Harrington (Sue). Brother-in-law of Elmer Emmorey, Iola Davis; the late Eleanor Davis, Don Emmorey, Maudie Price and Billy Emmorey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul served in the Canadian Army for 12 years; served as a Windsor Police Officer in 1969; security guard (with a 38 special!) in 1969; accepted to the OPP and Ford Motor Company at the same time (the wife in charge made the decision); he retired from Ford Motor Company with over 30 years of dedicated service! Paul was a pilot since 1972 and an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with his own airport, named the Essex Airport owned by P & A Harrington (licensed by Transport Canada). Member of Eastern Ontario Gunners’ Association; COPA; Cub Club; Taylorcraft Foundation; The International Cessna 170 Association. Paul is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. N, Essex on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The life celebration service will take place from the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. MY DAD PAUL HARRINGTON SR

I have some very Tragic News to Post at this time, on Family Day Feb 17, 2020. When Our Dad stopped breathing we switched ventilation to 16 breaths per minute. As Our Mom came into the room Dad's heart rate starting dropping fast . In minutes his heart stopped.

Our Dad passed away today at 3:15 pm,
Sorry for the late notification. It has been a surreal turn of events.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I unfortunately didn't make it back to the hospital to say my Last Goodbye to my Dad , My Best Friend Paul Harrington Sr My Dad was always my Rock .
I already feel Completely lost right now, 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, it hasn't really hit me yet. So please forgive me if I don't reply to everyone.

Prayers for our Mom Ann Harrington so she can have the strength so she can get through all of this 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
